Course Development

For a project in his Mass Communication Teaching (MMC 6930) class, Michael developed a semester-long class titled “Being Competitive in the Media Industry” that would be for undergraduate seniors.

The project included creating a course proposal; an in-depth class-by-class schedule that includes objectives, activities and audio/visual aids for each class meeting; a detailed lesson plan for a specific class meeting; a PowerPoint presentation for that specific class meeting; an assignment that would be given to the students; and a syllabus.

All of these items were, for the most part, made from scratch, utilizing the best practices taught in class. Links to PDFs of each of them are below.
